Directions: In a large kettle, brown 1# ground beef OR 1 3/4 cups, cubed chicken. Add 7 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil. While stirring, slowly add entire amount of soup mix. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for approx. 1 hour. Sprinkle soup bowls with crushed tortilla or corn chips before serving, if desired. Not recommended for crockpot; stove-top only.
